India joined the select group of countries by sending the MOM "Mars Orbiter Mission" our own Mangalyaan to outer space and we got it right in the first attempt itself. Mangalyaan has entered the Martian orbit- a feat unique to Indian ISRO to get it right the first time. Only three other missions have achieved this special feat of entering the Martian orbit, (The USA, Former USSR and European Space Agency); yet they took several attempts.The Indian scientists have done it right in the first time itself.
